Biography
I am a Quaternary Geologist. My research focus is Quaternary landforms. I use cosmogenic isotopes to date glacier related landforms, and physical glacier models to investigate the paleoclimate. I also employ cosmogenic isotopes to understand other problems of Earth sciences in tectonic, volcanic and archeological sites. Besides, I am using remote sensing techniques to observe present conditions and recent changes of glaciers in Turkey and also in the Western Himalayas and Antarctica.
