Özet

© BeFo and ISRM, 2012.Shotcrete is a widely used reinforcement material for rock support in mines and tunnels. It has been used as a reinforcement material since 1950s. Shotcrete also takes an important place in percentage of support costs, especially in mines. So its mechanical properties are still been investigated by researchers to optimize parameters about shotcrete. The aim of this study is to review the literature about shotcrete and to investigate the relationships of some mechanical parameters of shotcrete by using linear multiple regression analysis. The existing data in the literature were used in the study. The equations and correlation coefficients are demonstrated. Uniaxial compressive strength of shotcrete is estimated by using flexural strength and fiber volume used in shotcrete. The correlation coefficient (R2) is 0,60. The 28-day uniaxial compressive strength is estimated by air content and 7-day uniaxial compressive strength of shotcrete. The R2 is 0,89 . Normal stress has been estimated by shear stiffness of shotcrete and peak shear strength of shotcrete with a R2 in 0,92. This study indicates that some of mechanical properties of shotcrete difficultly performed and being expensive may be evaluated by other simple mechanical property tests.
