Özet

This anaerobic treatability study was conducted using a glucose based synthetic wastewater with a COD of 600 mg/l to simulate the COD of domestic sewage. The hydraulic retention times were varied in the range of 4 to 24 hours during the experiments. Organic loading rates were ranged from 0.56 to 4.10 kgCOD/m(3).day. Monod's and the second order substrate removal kinetics were applied to the experimental data. The linearized second order substrate removal kinetic parameter was evaluated together with similar results given literature for the similar waste.
