Özet

In the present work, the rather limited data available regarding the Sources, concentrations and treatability of naphthalene sulphonates in biological and chemical treatment systems is discussed and reviewed. Due to the refractory nature of most commercial naphthalene sulphonates, this review focused on the application of, advanced oxidation processes for their efficient degradation by providing a deeper insight into the reaction mechanisms involved and products formed ill advanced chemical and photochemical oxidation of important naphthalene sulphonates.
