Abstract

The proposed antenna is designed for FR4 substrate, with a size of 40mm x 27mm x 1mm, 0.53 lambda o x 0.35 lambda o at the center frequency of 3.98 GHz, easily fabricated and low manufacturing cost. In antenna design, we simulate and investigate this antenna structure by using HFSS program. Proposed antenna has a impedance bandwidth of 86% from 2.28 GHz to 5.68 GHz, and has a stable directional pattern at x-y plane over the frequency band.
