Özet

It is hypothesized that employees' perception of support for innovation is associated with organizational context. Taking into account theoretical and practical findings in literature, the article provides a way of categorizing contextual factors into three groups: management commitment and support, leadership style and human resource management. Using multivariate statistical analyses on the variables measured through multiple items, the hypotheses were tested for 195 organizations in Slovenia. There was evidence that in organizations in which employees experience high level of management support for innovation, Supportive leadership style and human resource management focused on innovation employees' perception of support for innovation is higher than in other organizations.
