Özet

One of the main achievements in computer assisted engineering is modeling by using of human expertise based knowledge that is defined for product under development or application. Currently prevailing product modeling serves as excellent solution for demand for information and analysis of results in advanced engineering. Model based product information systems manage information for the lifecycle of products. However, this engineering technology has generated new problems. The authors recognized that most of these problems are in connection with undefined human source and background of information for engineering objects in product model, especially in case of engineering projects in wide area computer networks. They introduce two modeling methods in this paper. In order to establish a higher level of automation in tracking for affected entities at modification of engineering objects, the authors proposed a method for organized description of relationships within product model. After explanation of problem caused by undefined background of modeled object information in the product model, a new multilevel modeling method is introduced in order to establish an organized information and information content as extension to the current classical product model.
