Eggs are one source of animal protein needed by humans to complete food needs. Consumers sometimes find the eggs they buy are in poor condition; sorting eggs is still using the manual method: looking at the eggs under the light and soaking the eggs into the water. However, manual observation can be errors due to limited sight and fatigue factors that affect detection accuracy. This study aims to build an automatic identification system of chicken egg quality based on a photodiode sensor to be more accurate by using the RGB colour space method based on the intensity of the egg's colour emitted.
