Abstract

Natural gas technology selection is a critical issue for manufacturing companies. Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs) are characterized by a membership degree and a nonmembership degree satisfying the condition that their square sum is equal to or less than 1. COmbinative Distance-based ASsessment (CODAS) method which is a new multi criteria decision making (MCDM) technique introduced by Ghorabaee et al. [6]. The aim of this paper is to apply the Pythagorean fuzzy extension of CODAS method with an application to select the natural gas technology. The proposed method provides a larger definition area for membership and non-membership degrees.
