A field study of piled raft behaviour is presented in this paper. In two series of tests, one with jet-grout columns and the other with mini piles, load sharing ratios are determined in comparison with control tests carried out on free standing piles. The load shared by the raft is an important component of the foundation capacity. In tests, that ratio is reached to values as high as 49% and 32%.
