Özet

Antimony production amounts and changes in antimony prices from past to present of the antimony element, which has more than 120 types of minerals, including sulfur and oxide in nature, have been examined. The most important factors affecting the enrichment of antimony ore are the structure of the deposit, the minerology of the ore and the distribution of the antimony in the ore. More than one method can be applied for antimony enrichment under optimum conditions. These are gravity enrichment, flotation enrichment, selective spherical agglomeration and smelting. In this study, their suitability for antimony enrichment was examined. In this research, the surface chemistry of the run-of-mine antimony ore, namely; the hydrophobic / hydrophilic properties depending on the chemical structure of the valuable and valueless minerals in its structure, adsorption properties and optimum pH values have been investigated. Depending on these, reagents such as collector and depressant have been specified.
