Özet

This paper extends an earlier reported design for seakeeping methodology based on design charts. The new results reported consider systematic variations of both primary and secondary hull form parameters. Following an explanation of the developments of the methodology, the hull form generation procedure and the maintenance of design data integrity, a destroyer form is redesigned to enhance its seakeeping characteristics subject to stability and calm water resistance remaining satisfactory.
