Abstract

Polymer type of air entraining admixtures plays an important role in the entrained air system in concrete. Amount, size, spacing and specific surface of air voids are important parameters, affected by the polymer type, with respect to long term performance of concrete. These parameters depend on chemical essence of air entraining admixtures.
