Abstract

In the paper, we study an optimal control problem connected with a fractional Fornasini-Marchesini model described by partial Caputo derivatives. Using a new version of the increment method, the necessary and sufficient optimality condition is obtained in the form of the Pontryagin maximum principle for the posed fractional optimal control problem. The paper is concluded with illustrating example.
