The pre-consolidation pressure is a considerable parameter for the stress history of consolidation behavior of cohesive soils. This part of the main research embodies the results of various oedometer tests applied on several low plasticity clay samples according to the Unified Soil Classification System with a constant diameter size of 50mm. In order to compare the pre-consolidation pressure values, essentially the sixteen soil samples, which had been taken from the different sites and various depths, were selected. The consolidation tests were performed using with the conventional oedometers. The purpose of this part of the research is to compare the results of the pre-consolidation pressure values by using the determination methods such as “Casagrande”, “Tavenas” and “Senol (New)” methods. As a result, a linear relationship in terms of the results of these pre-consolidation determination methods for several low plasticity clays is subsequently determined.
