Abstract

2,2'-Biperimidine and perimidine-2-formaldoxime have been prepared by an one-pot reaction of E,E-dichloroglyoxime or <(anti)under bar>-monochloroglyoxime with 1,8-diaminonaphthalene. Metal complexes of 2,2'-biperimidine are also described.
