Abstract

In this paper we performed a thermal analyses using experimental determination in contact pantograph AC contact line. The pantograph is asymmetric EPC type and the contact line wire is TF 100 type, both used in Romanian Electric Railways. The influence on the temperature value of the small contact area between two collector strips of pantograph and contact wire is pointed out.
