Abstract

A phenomenological relationship is proposed for electrolytic conductance that works well over a large range of concentration. A comparison of this expression with the Onsager limiting law leads to a modified Debye parameter for ordinary concentrations. The modified Debye parameter thus obtained is consistent with those derived for the primitive model electrolytes.
