Özet

In this study, a relationship between cyclone paths over Turkey and Air Pollutants (SO2 and Suspended Total Particular Matter (STPM)) in several cities of Turkey having population over 100,000 people is investigated in a period of 1985-93. First of all cyclone frequencies and cyclone paths that have been effective over Turkey are determined by using surface and 500 mb synoptic charts from 1979 to 1994. In addition to this, European Blocking events are counted by using same charts.
