The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the boron adsorption from wastewaters of boric acid and borax. The ion-exchange method is effective for the adsorption of boron from waste solution. The experimental result obtained were evaluated both graphically and mathematically. In order to compare the results, the solution volume was expressed by dimensionless parameters showing the ratio of the total volume of water (V-1) subject to ion-exchange for a period (t(1)), to the resin volume (V). An empirical equation relating boron concentration, C, to filtrate and resin volumes V and V-1, respectively, has been developed:
