Özet

Historic building heritage needs to be prepared for the challenges it is exposed to due to climate change. This can be achieved by increasing the durability and energy efficiency of buildings. It is considered that approximately 75 - 90% of the problems in historical buildings are caused by humidity. It is understood that hygrothermal building analysis has a critical importance in the improvement of cultural assets.

Appropriate simulation tools and correct data entry are important when performing hygrothermal analysis. In this study, the hygrothermal envelope performance of Camcıoğlu Mansion located in the preservation site of priority Kayseri province of Turkey was performed using Wufi Plus simulation tool. At the end of the analysis, it was evaluated whether the hygrothermal performance was sufficient for its reuse in accordance with its original design and intended use.
