Abstract

Research shows that most of Health Information Technology (HIT) implementation projects are reported to fail. In this study, a HIT implementation process of a Turkish hospital was observed and analyzed. The analyses of HIT implementation failure in the hospital were used to design a road map in terms of a guide for hospitals in order to minimize risks and to increase the chance for success.
