Özet

The purpose of this research is to study the effectiveness of consulting services in the Turkish manufacturing companies. A questionnaire form was designed and mailed to 475 major manufacturing enterprises. Seventy-five out of these firms responded and returned the questionnaire. The Turkish manufacturing companies consider consultancy usage to become successful in the domestic and global markets. Team working and the way the consultants approach problems in the customer organization play an important role in achieving success in consultancy work. The expectations of the manufacturing companies from consultants are solving problems correctly and timely though creative approaches are not considered so important.
