The diffusion of Pentane and Methylcyclohexane (MCH) molecules into nonaqueous dispersion (NAD) of, poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) sterically stabilized by polyisobutylene (PIB) were studied by UV absorption method. Uptake curves were generated by measuring absorbance of 9-anthryl methyl pivale (AMP)which was penetrated into NAD particles together with above solvents. It was found that Pentane molecules diffused much faster than MCH molecules into PIB-PMMA interphase.
