Abstract

This paper describes Iron a multi-valve arrangement within the cylinder head of a marine diesel engine can be modeled by means of using the junction boundary condition and it is aimed to investigate the effects of increasing valve number on the engine operational parameters. The effects on the major gas dynamic variables of the cylinder and the pipe network were also investigated.
