Abstract

A new magnesium porphyrazinate with eight [triphenyl-(2-sulfanyl-ethoxycarbonyl-2-propyl)phosphonium]bromide groups has been prepared from octakis(2-hydroxyethylthio)porphyrazinatomagnesium and (2-carboxy-1-methylethyl)triphenylphosphonium bromide {[(Ph)(3)PCH2CH(Me)CO2H]Br}. The new compound has been characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis, H-1 and P-31 NMR together with elemental analysis. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
