Özet

In this paper, a pull type manufacturing system is introduced and two experiment sets are performed by simulation. The first set aims to examine the pull system behaviour for the equipment failures and breakdowns whether they occur in upstream or downstream processes. The second experiment set consists of five experiments and aims to investigate the effects of various maintenance policies on the pull system performance. SIMAN language is used for the simulation experiments.
