Abstract

A Bee Colony Optimization algorithm (BCO) for stabilization of a benchmark controller is presented. The main goal of BCO is finding the optimal design of the Membership Functions (MFs) in the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic System (IT2FLS). The results demonstrated that the BCO algorithm shows good stabilization when a IT2FLS is evaluated in the Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC). A comparative analysis is implemented to demonstrated and verified that BCO algorithm presents excellent results in comparison with the Type-1 Fuzzy Systems (T1FLS).
