Abstract

Although the developing technology of circular knitting machines, faults on the fabric due to the abrasion and fracture of the needle are very difficult to prevent. The yarn force, impact and damping force, reaction force and inertia force are the leading forces acting on the needle during the knitting. At this study, these forces which influence the life of the needle have been studied briefly.
