Abstract

In this work, an equation for the impedance transformation of a complex load by the use of a nonreciprocal and nonsymmetric exponential tapered transmission line is obtained after a general differential equation for input impedance of nonreciprocal and nonsymmetric nonuniform transmission line has been derived. A new approach based on fuzzy genetic algorithm for the synthesis of nonreciprocal and nonsymmetric exponential tapered transmission line impedance matching sections is presented. An example is also given. Results obtained by new approach is compared with the results given in literature.
