Özet

BACKGROUNDThis study evaluated the microbial behavior of activated sludge systems operated with an active heterotrophic biomass inflow. The evaluation focused on the possibility of sludge minimization. Thus, related process stoichiometry was derived on the basis of mass balance for essential parameters.
