Sustainability gains importance parallel to the fact that natural resources sharply decrease. One of these resources is water and effectively usage of water resources becomes more crucial as not only water is an essential component that faces to run out but also recycling and reusing concepts are becoming important. Wastewater can be efficiently reused under effective policies and for these policies, wastewater amount forecasting is very important. Considering the fact that Turkey has been experiencing to improve its waste management strategies, wastewater management is also very crucial for Turkey to develop its policies. Thus, Turkey’s wastewater amount needs to be accurately forecasted in order to effectively manage wastewater discharged to lake, sea, soil and other resources. This study focuses on the forecasting for wastewater discharged to different resources. Box-Jenkins time series analysis has been used to forecast them under different categories. After analyzing and modelling, the real data and the estimated data fits well for the indicted time series model.
