Abstract

Recently two earthquakes with high casualties have taken place on the western part of the North Anatolian Fault. Scientist is expecting another major earthquake at the Marmara Sea Basin and continuesly warning the public and the responsible bodies for preparedness. Istanbul as one of the main centers in the Marmara Region will suffer under serious damages after the struck.
