The human torso is modeled as a homogeneus medium with planar surfaces in the front and at the back. For this aim, the torso should be covered with a plastic material whose constants are equal to those of the torso. By applying the principle of images, very simple formulae are obtained for the cardiac field. By making use of ECG and MCG together, the cardiac vector and its position can be determined very easily.
