Abstract

Electromagnetic scattering from rough surfaces has been an important topic of interest for the past decades. In literature, several analytical and numerical methods have been introduced. In this paper, the field scattered from a randomly rough surface separating two dielectric half spaces will be obtained and compared by two of these methods, Kirchhoff Approximation (KA) [1] and Buried Object Approach (BOA) [2].
