Abstract

Based on the fundamentals of Environmental Law of 1983, Air Quality Assurance Regulation (AQAR) was issued at October 1986. Basically this regulation is a direct translation of Erste Allgemeine Ver waltugsvorsschrift zum Bundes- Immissionsschulzgesetz. The main thrust of AQAR is concerned with industry and domestic heating and traffic are not represented according to the weight of their emission contributions. Indeed in general on quantity terms as defined by SO2 and particulate emission the domestic heating is at present the biggest contributor of air pollution.
