Özet

© 2021 Chamber of Turkish Electrical Engineers. This study presents an affordable solution to reduce the cost of electricity and carbon foot print in a grid connected village. Therefore, data of the area such as daily power demand, peak load, solar radiation, water flow rate and wind speed have been collected to create an optimal microgrid system, which consists of any hybrid combination of photovoltaic (PV) modules, wind turbines (WTs), small hydroelectric power plant (SHPP), electrolyser, fuel cell (FC) and hydrogen tank (HT). Analyzes to optimize the penetration levels of resources in both on-grid and off-grid systems have been performed in HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Models for Energy Resources) program.
