Abstract

Multicarrier approach is used in orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) based systems such as Long-Term Evolution (LTE), which is the most current commercial communication technology in Europe. Since its widespread use, reliable communications for critical applications become vital. Regrettably, radio jamming may be the simplest form for disruption of these networks. This article approaches to this problem as a jamming detection problem. A multiple hypothesis testing problem is modeled. Neyman-Pearson theorem is used to analyze detection and false alarm probability of detector. To simply overcome the problem, we use the asymptotic probability of detection.
