TRACE ELEMENTS AND ELECTROLYTES, vol.18, no.3, pp.129-133, 2001 (SCI-Expanded)
An enrichment and separation procedure based on coprecipitation for determining of cadmium, chromium, lead and manganese in urine is described. The analyte ions were concentrated from 10.0 ml of urine into 1.0 ml of 1 M HNO3 and subsequently determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS). Coprecipitation parameters and matrix effects are discussed. The method was applied to the urine samples collected from Kayseri City. The RSDs for graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometric determinations were below 9%.
