Özet

The interoperability of geo-data means to share geo-data from different sources for various thematic services and e-government applications. To test geo-data interoperability, model-based approach is applied and verified with Urban GIS data model. In this study, Urban GIS and 3D geo-data models were determined, such as CityGML, IMGeo in the Netherland, ATKIS in Germany, and OS Vector Map in England. Structure and contents of these models were examined for managing geo-data effectively. Current geo-data standards such as BOHHBUY- Large Scale Map Information Production Regulation and Urban GIS projects were investigated in Turkey. After analyzing current geo-data models and user needs, AriBIS geo-data model was developed at large scale level. This model includes 3D geo-data themes such as transportation, building, hydrography, landscape, infrastructure, urban furniture.
