This paper investigates the effects of granulation behavior on ZnO, TiO2, Cr2O3, WO3 and MoO3 powders with adding PVA via spray drying technique. In all experiments, spray drying conditions like air inlet temperature, feed flow rate and air flow rate were exactly established 180-200 degrees C, 10-15% and 4-5 bar ranges, respectively. Concentrations of the solutions were adjusted to 30% and 2% solid loadings for each of the ceramic oxides and PVA, respectively. The powder state characterization of the prepared composite granules were performed and studied by being compared with initial powders. SEM examinations demonstrated that the morphologies of ceramic oxides with the addition of PVA were led to spherical structure. However, morphology of WO3-PVA granules displayed hollow spherical structure by contrast with other four ceramic oxide granules. The PVA addition changed particle size and surface area characteristics. The density measurements were also showed an enhancement in the packing properties of these granules.
