Özet

In this study, Turkey's solar energy availability was examined and selected from seven different provinces in seven regions technical and economical aspects of 2.5MW solar power plant was analyzed using poly-crystalline and thin-film technologies separately for both central and string inverter topologies. In the calculations Metonorm meteorological data from 1996 to 2005 was transferred to PVsyst program. The electrical energy production values for four different 2.5MW solar power plant the highest value is obtained as 4624MWh (S3, central inverter thin film technology) in Diyarbakir, and the lowest value is 2845MWh (S2, string inverter poly-crystalline technology) in Trabzon. The capacity factor of four different 2.5MW solar power plant cases in seven provinces, it ranges between 12.99% and 21.57%. According cost analysis, the lowest cost was obtained as (sic) 14.76 cents / kWh, situation S3 (central inverter with thin film module), in Diyarbakir, in the highest initial investment (sic) 23.28 cents / kWh situation S1 (central inverter with poly crystalline module) in Trabzon.
