Abstract

Epichlorohydrin (ECH) was polymerized by an activated monomer mechanism (AM) in the presence of benzoin (B) and is-proportional-to-methylol benzoinmethylether (MBME), respectively. Spectroscopic studies showed that polymers obtained via this initiation method contained benzoin terminal groups.
