Abstract

The apparent dimension that would be seen in a fluorescence experiment when the donors and the accepters are embedded in a randomized sierpinsky carpet is studied. The oscillations of the apparent dimension first seen by El-Sayed in deterministic fractals is also observed in the randomized version.
