Abstract

By employing the energetic optimization technique, the optimum performance of an irreversible Camel heat engine system driven by a corrugated sheet collector is investigated at maximum power output. The maximum overall efficiency of the system is expressed in terms of the operating parameter of the collector and the cycle-irreversibility parameter of the heat engine.
