In this study 3011 Ne 100 % cotton color-mixture yams were tested for their quality characteristics. Proportions of single-colored fibers in the yam were changed to be 1%, 20%, 40%, 61%, 80%, respectively. Results showed that yam irregularity increased with the increase in dyed fiber content of the mixture yam, and the yam quality showed a slight decrease as well.
