Özet

We investigate the influence of excited-state absorption and quenching effect on the performances of nonlinear absorptive bistable systems. We show that these physical processes lead to a lowering of the hysteresis domain and therefore appear as limiting effects. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
