The impact of COVID-19 control measures on the air quality of the city of Adana was studied during period between January 1 and June 30, 2020. The temporal variation of the observed concentration of PM10, O3, NO2 and SO2 collected by the urban development ministry of Adana at four ambient air quality stations was analyzed. The data collected during this study period was also compared to the data collected at the same period in 2018 and 2019 to evaluate the degree of any change in the air quality of the city of Adana. While some decrease in the concentration of the ambient pollution was noted both during the pandemic and compared to the previous years, not a significant impact of the control measures on the general air quality of the city of Adana was identified during the pandemic.
