Özet

The lack of environmental aspects, especially in complex problems like blast-induced vibrations, exists still in Turkish mining and environmental law. There is still no national standard regarding to vibration evaluation. It is attempted, starting from 1997 on. using a new way before beginning of projects during environmental impact assessment procedure (EIA), which allows by the complementary regulations of environmental law only a partial solution for new mining projects, whereas the old projects remains without an EIA-procedure. This paper sets out the investigation procedures in special cases and the utilization of vibration predictors based on peak particle velocity, frequency properties, and on the standards like USBM, OSMRE, DIN, BS which are gained common acceptance in other countries, too.
