Abstract

A new method to determine the SPICE BJT model dynamic parameters from DC measurement data is proposed. To extract the dynamic model parameters from DC measurement data, the physical relationship between the static and dynamic behaviour parameters of the BJT is taken as the basic starting point. The necessary static behaviour measurements can be performed on the HP 4145A parameter analyser. The measurement data can be processed through a computer program to calculate the static and dynamic parameters.
